Diwali celebration in a unique way in Gujarati English Medium High School Known for inculcating values in students. Shree Gujarati English Medium School celebrated Diwali this year in an innovative way with around 300 Anganwadi Putanis and their parents from the environment. It is their annual tradition that students, teachers, education committee and PTA executive committee members spend the charity fund donated on their birthdays to celebrate Diwali with the children of a nearby orphanage. This year it was organized to celebrate with the little ones of the Anganwadi. The celebration began with a prayer by the school students, followed by a warm welcome by the Principal, Mrs. Ashwini Shenoy. Emphasizing the school's focus on value-based learning, she highlighted today's celebration as an integral part of that philosophy. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Avni Sutaria, Chairman, Education Committee, Mr. Vishal Sanghvi, Secretary, Shri Gujarati Mahajan Association and other dignitaries were present. Everyone lit the lamp and started the program. Mrs. Jyothi conducted the felicitation ceremony where seven teachers from nearby Anganwadi centers were felicitated for their dedicated service. On this occasion, sweets were distributed to the class in the school like every year. Mrs. Avni Sutaria spoke about the remarkable growth from a Gujarati medium school in 1935 to a full-fledged CBSE-affiliated English medium school today. She highlighted the school's excellent infrastructure and commitment to providing quality education. To engage the little ones, exciting games were conducted, followed by a prize distribution ceremony. The festive celebration concluded with teachers, parents and all present participating in the display of colorful sudu maddus. The entire program was compered by Mr. Premraj.
